Since the release of of their popular Call of Duty battle royale game Warzone was released, it has been plagued with aimbotters with one of the most infamous being from one that achieved a 49 kill count. This has resulted in Infinity Ward taking to Twitter to reveal they have banned over 70,000 accounts for cheating.
Infinity Ward stated:
We’ve now issued over 70,000 bans worldwide to protect #Warzone from cheaters. We’re continuing to deploy dedicated security updates and work continues on improving in-game reporting. We’ll share more details soon. We are watching. We have zero tolerance for cheaters.
