Ubisoft Opens New Studio In Serbia

Ubisoft have announced they have opened a fourth production studio in Eastern Europe. This time it will be located in Belgrade Serbia.

Ubisoft Belgrade currently has 15 employees who are all working on the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, with plans of expanding to 40 employees in the coming year.

Sebastien Dolen, Managing Director of Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Belgrade, and Ubisoft Kiev release the following statement..

“Serbia has a lot to offer in terms of talent, in particular tech professionals. We’re always on the lookout for high potential markets with the passion, skills and expertise to create the very best games, and Serbia’s reputation in several key fields makes this investment the perfect match.”

“We are bringing years of expertise to the Serbian market and want to contribute to the development of the local gaming industry, as we did for the other countries in the region.”

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is in development for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
