According to Japanese Nintendo, Nintendo have applied for nine trademarks in Japan for ‘downloadable videogame programs’. Among the names included was Wario Land and WarioWare. This has led many to believe we could be receiving a new Wario Land game for Switch.
It’s believed that an official announcement could be at E3 2018 or at a Nintendo Direct event beforehand.
Other games that had trademarks filed include Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers, Luigi’s Mansion, Mario & Luigi, Metroid, Metroid Prime, and Smash Bros..
