Overwatch streamer and Skyfoxes tank player James “Cloneman16” D’Arcangelo has revealed that he has been suspended for 30 days from Twitch for hateful conduct. Cloneman16 noted that the word in question was “mongoloid.” He has sense apologized for using the term and said that he did not know the true definition of the the world.
According to Merriam-Webster, Mongoloid has two definitions. These definitions are:
- : of, constituting, or characteristic of a race of humankind native to Asia and classified according to physical features (such as the presence of an epicanthal fold)
- often not capitalized, dated, now usually offensive : of, relating to, or affected with Down syndrome
