It seems that Troy Baker and Nolan North are not that only ones that will not be returning to reprise their roles in Borderlands 3.
David Eddings, the voice of Claptrap, revealed on his personal Twitter account that he will not be returning to reprise the role. When a fan asked him if he would be returning to the Borderlands franchise he stated:
No. For the first time, I insisted on getting paid for my performance and all of a sudden they couldn’t afford me. Now I’m not telling them how to run their business but maybe next time they should put the $12M payment from 2K in the Gearbox bank account instead. Just sayin’…
Eddings did say that he appreciated his time with Gearbox and noted that he is continuing to work in the games industry.
