G2A has had its share of controversy for some time and over the past month it has picked up way more steam than usual. In most part due to allegations by game developers that the website sells illegally obtained game keys.
In response, G2A have now proposed a key-blocking tool for developers. The company claims that a majority of fraudulent keys originate from being given out for review making their way onto the marketplace and keys obtained from giveaways. This tool will also allow developers to list keys they don’t want to be sold on G2A.
It’s worth noting that G2A have not started development of this tool and it’s unknown if and when it would be readily available to developers.
