YouTuber Claims They Have Received Death Threats From GameStop Subreddit

YouTuber Camelot331 has taken to Twitter to claim they have started to receive death threats through his DMs on Instagram and Twitter from supposed users of the GameStop subreddit.

His message on YouTube also goes into detail by saying:

Getting tons of death threats from members of gamestop’s subreddit r/GameStop. In a recent video I mentioned it being an echo chamber. Which obviously is true because you get banned if you even type my name. “Camelot.” It serves as a lesson that if you stand and tell the truth. Try to warn people and make a change. There are people that will want you dead for it. One guy even posted my address saying he was coming to “Deal with me.” One guy said I “wouldn’t be making videos much longer.” Also apparently I’m getting swatted my next stream. Kinda excited. Haha.

Camelot is so well known within the GameStop subreddit that posts mentioning his name are automatically blocked. He’s very well known for speaking out against the company due to their business practices and major leaks that have or in part come true with the biggest being the layoffs within corporate and stores shutting down. Their most recent video involves a leak from someone within the corporate GameStop offices saying they will be implementing a “Legacy Delete” program.
