After a “Stay At Home” order was issued for California yesterday, GameStop employees within the state will not be financially compensated. According to games journalist Jason Schreier, several GameStop employees have told Kotaku that staff are being told to use personal time (limited to assistant managers and higher) or file for unemployment.
GameStop did not reply to Kotaku’s requests for comment about how the company plans to proceed.
