Atari have announced they are launching a new program called Atari XP. This is a new initiative program that will bring some rare and never-released Atari titles to the market in cartridge form. The first three titles under this program will be the Atari games Saboteur, Yars’ Return, and Aquaventure.
Future drops from Atari XP will include previously unreleased titles from Atari’s expansive library, rare-and-hard-to-find Atari IP physical media, and improved versions of classic games with refined mechanics and graphics.
Pre-orders can be purchased at AtariXP.com. Standard cartridges purchased before December 10 are expected to be delivered by Christmas while the limited edition cartridges will release in Q1 2022.
