One issue that people have had with the popular online streaming platform has been notifications on exactly why someone might be banned from the platform. However, it appears that might change soon.
Speaking with The Washington Post, Twitch TV’s Vice President of trust and safety Angela Hession strongly hinted that the company are working on a more detailed ban notification what would let someone know exactly why they were banned. Hession stated:
“Safety is a journey, and this is a number-one ask from our community. So we’re looking at how we can attach more details for people to understand — like the video itself. That’s something we’re definitely working on.”
While this seems to still be in the early stages, Twitch did recently add an appeals portal for those who wish to discuss their ban.
