According to a new report by Business Insider, several current and former Microsoft employees have accused top level executives at the company of verbal abuse and misconduct. Executives that were specifically named in the piece include Alex Kipman, Tom Keane, Terry Myerson.
Dozens of allegations were made against Alex Kipman with no repercussions against him with one alleging he watched virtual reality pornography during a meeting.
Terry Myerson, who previously served as Corporate Vice President, is said to have had a long history of verbally abusing employees even before he left the company back in 2018 due to a public incident in which he berated staff at a company event. So much so that CEO Satya Nadella would have to get involved according to a employee who works very closely with Nadella. The source said:
“If it’s something seriously egregious, he will address it, but it has to be something that puts him at risk.”
