In what has quickly sparked discussion among the Intellivision community, the company’s corporate offices in Santa Ana California have popped up for rent via LoopNet.
As mentioned on the latest episode of the CUPodcast, the 28,550 square foot building on Carnegie Avenue had its listing created on June 30 and was updated as recently as today (July 12, 2022.) Pictures show several walls with the classic Intellivision Blue color and glass doors that still contain the iconic Intellivision “Running Man” on them.
While no exact number has been made public, it’s estimated that the total cost to rent out the entire building is $220,000 per year.
We do want to note that Intellivision still have offices around the world and it’s possible that the company have simply downsized since company CEO Phil Adams acknowledged last month they have had a significant reduction in staff.
