According to Ethan Gach of Kotaku, G4TV has been hit with a round of layoffs with around 25 employees being let go of their positions.
Sources for the outlet have said that the company’s finances have been in horrible condition less than a year after being revived. This includes managers being told to cut costs anywhere they can cut cost. The company also cancelled all of their planned streams that were planned to take place tonight, but promised to return to their normal schedule tomorrow.
Many who are still employed with G4TV do not know what their future holds with the company. Current presiden Joe Marsh, who also serves as Comcast Spectator CEO, is said to be hellbent on slashing their budget.
