The world of Esports has reached another milestone as Hong-Kong based Dream Cruises have announced they will be placing an esports section inside the World Dream’s 1,700 square feet VR center. While the venue can only hold 80 spectators and 10 competitors, it’s still the first time Esports has received a permanent residency on a cruise ship.
CEO of Dream Cruises Thatcher Brown told Cruise Industry News:
“This initiative supports the Hong Kong government and Tourism Board’s commitment to promote esports in the region. We look forward to inspiring our guests from millennials to the young in spirit in these exciting esports activities.”
