Metroid, much like Mario, is a really popular franchise among the speedrunning community. It’s no surprise that those games featured during the Metroid Prime Trilogy would not have a community.
Today a played from America who goes by the gamertag Dragonfire6780 set a World Record time for Metroid Prime 100% while playing it on the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Dragonfire did it with a time of 1 hour 44 minutes of in-game time. He did it on the Japanese version of the game. This beats the previous World Record held by Cottonandy by 13 minutes. Cottonandy’s time was 1 hour 57 minutes.
