GamersOrigin Drops Overwatch Team

Despite placing fifth in the first season of the Overwatch Contenders, French esports organization GamersOrigin have decided to drop their entire Overwatch team. This means that all the players have now entered free agency with the exception of Gael “Poko” Gouzerch who was picked up by the Philadelphia Fusion.

According to their eSports Director Yann-Cédric Mainguy, the reason for this decision is due to uncertainty about the competitive scene outside of the Overwatch League.
