Marketing research firm Gartner is predicting that Windows 10 will reach record level migration and will eventually be the most installed version of Windows since it’s original inception was released way back in 1985.
Vice President of Garnet Steve Kleynhans released this statement…
“In the consumer market, a free upgrade coupled with broad legacy device support and automatic over-the-air upgrades ensures that there will be tens of millions of users familiar with the operating system (OS) before the end of 2015. For enterprises, we expect that implementation will be significantly more rapid than that seen with Windows 7 six years ago.”
Gartner is also predicting that 1 in 3 laptops will feature touchscreen by 2018 and 30% of enterprises will spend more on display screens than on PCs. Only time will tell.
