Game Watch Impress reported today that Westone Bit Entertainment is filing for bankruptcy after being in operation for the past 30 years. The company has entered liquidation and have since shut down their official website.
The company is most famous for Wonder Boy which was one of the first games to introduce the side-scrolling gameplay. The company also made other games such as Jaws for NES, Dark Half, Riot Zone, and Dungeon Explorer.
