At CES, Razer has announced they have yet another peripheral that will be produced and this time it’s not a keyboard or mouse. The company announced they are developing a webcam and will be called Stargazer.
The Stargazer will use Intel RealSense which will allow for facial and gesture recognition, and 3D scanning. The most interesting part is that it will rid of the need of a green screen in the background.
The webcam will record in 720p at 60fps, or 1080p at 30fps and will also include noise-cancelling duel-microphones. The price of the webcam will be $200 which has many skeptical on if it will truly be worth the money compared to other webcams on the market.
