The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has revealed that a remake of the popular 1980s Japanese game Penguin Wars is in development for Nintendo Switch. Penguin Wars was first released back in 1985 in Arcades and was later ported over to Game Boy and NES.The game is being developed by City Connection, the studio behind Connect Erase and Soldam: Drop and will release in Japan this Fall.
This remake will feature local and online multiplayer, a story mode with a growth element, remake versions of the background music, and special rules that will see the balls being replaced by bombs.
