Loads of fans have been hesitant on Konami’s Metal Gear Survive since it was announced. Now it seems that those negative thoughts have hit overdrive as it is now being reported that not only will the game require continuous online connectivity, but it will also contain microtransactions.
A report by Gamespot notes you will be able to pay real money for in-game currency called SV coins and then use that currency to buy temporary stat boosts, or increase the rate at that you earn ‘Battle Points’. Konami also told Gamespot..
“Metal Gear Survive’s online connectivity requirements were built to support a seamless integration between single player and co-op. This will also enable us to provide ongoing content post-launch.”
