According to anonymous sources for ESPN staff writer Jacob Wolf, long-time Esports organizations Giants Gaming, ROCCAT, and Unicorns of Love will not be participating in the upcoming franchising of EU LCS. The organizations will likely join H2K Gaming and Splyce as the five teams leaving EU LCS in favor of new organizations joining.
Europe will follow in the footsteps of NA LCS by having a franchise model which was introduced in 2017.
It’s worth noting that Riot Games, nor the three organizations rumored to be leaving have not commented on the matter.
