According to sources for The Esports Observer, Activision Blizzard and the Overwatch League are working on ways to help teams to get better sponsor exposure which could become crucial to offset the costs of a full home/away schedule in 2020.
Some ideas that have been proposed is to have the League’s production team show more logos during their broadcasts, allowing local advertising via geoforcing, and eliminating league exclusivity on one sponsorship category.
Some of the teams have suggested that the jerseys be altered to the style used my teams in soccer by having a bold and large logo near the middle of the jerseys.
