Long ago before the days of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega actually had a different mascot. That character was a boy named Alex, better known as Alex Kidd. He was their main mascot in the 80s until 1991 when Sonic the Hedgehog was created. Alex Kidd’s debut was in his own game called Alex Kidd in Miracle World on the Sega Master System.
Today, a player out of Belgium named randomjulien posted a new world record time for the game. His score was 13 minutes 44 seconds. This beats the previous record of 13 minutes 58 seconds held by baabeuf.
