Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Creative Director Addresses Trailer Criticism

Ubisoft debut the first trailer for their next Assassin’s Creed game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. However, the trailer has received mix reaction among the gaming community currently sitting with 20,000 likes to 33,000 dislikes. This is in large part due to Ubisoft advertising gameplay, but no real gameplay was shown outside of CGI cutscenes. It also didn’t help that it was unveiled during Inside Xbox which was suppose to show the power of Xbox Series X.

Quick to address these concerns. Creative Director Ashraf Ismali took to Twitter to say that he understood that many were hoping to see more, but promised that more will be unveiled until the game releases.

Ismali stated:

Hello all

You rightfully expected to see more today. We have a long marketing campaign ahead of us, you will see in-depth gameplay and get a lot more info about the game. Thank you for your excitement and passion! Be patient with us and be kind. It will be worth it!

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is in development for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Stadia, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and PC.
