Atari have announced that pre-orders for the Atari VCS (formerly Ataribox) will begin on May 30 via Indiegogo. Pre-sale will be exclusive to the platform and contain some exclusive models. This includes the Collector’s Edition which will contain wood grain and an all black version called the Atari VCS Onyx. These packages will start at $199 with shipments planned for Spring 2019.
Michael Arzt, Atari COO of Connected Devices, said in the press release:
