Bandai Namco Targeted By Hacking Group

According to vx-underground, a platform that collects malware source code, Bandai Namco have been the target of the ransomware group BlackCat.

While exact details on what kind of data was specifically obtained, it is possible that the group managed to obtain personal information on both the company and its employees.

This makes them the latest company in the gaming space to be struck by a data breach in the past year. Other companies include NVIDIA, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, and Capcom.
