The Overwatch League has received a new sponsor in the form of Anheuser-Busch InBev. This partnership will see Bud Light become the official beer sponsor of the Overwatch League. This will also see Bud Light sponsor the broadcast of matches that air on ABC and ESPN2 starting this Saturday when the Houston Outlaws take on the Dallas Fuel at the Allen Event Center in Dallas Texas.
While some have questioned the Overwatch League having a beer sponsor, Nielsen Esports Fan Insights found that 64% of OWL fans are over the age of 21 and 75% of OWL fans outside of China are the legal drinking age.
