Thanks to a statement sent to PC Gamer, we now know some more information about the newly announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and it’s actually positive news. The company revealed that the game will have cross-platform play and will not have a Season Pass of any kind.
Telling PC Gamer:
“With the launch of Modern Warfare, the team is taking steps to unite the community. First, the team plans for Modern Warfare to be played together across PC and console through cross-play support. Also, the team is eliminating the traditional season pass, so that they can deliver more free maps and content as well as post-launch events to all players.”
There has also been no mention of a Battle Royale mode, but it’s still unknown if one will be included.
