The Guardian is reporting that Adam Mudd, creator of the DDoS service Titanium Stressor, has been sentenced to 2 months in jail. The charges include money laundering and multiple violations of the U.K. Computer Misuse Act.
The program is said to have been used more than 1.7 million times and has attacked many including Runescape, Minecraft, Sony, Microsoft, and TeamSpeak.
Mudd’s three sentences include 24 months for personally carrying out 594 DDoS attacks, 24 months for money laundering, and 9 months for operating the Titanium Stressor service.
