Discord Starts Rolling Out Video Chat, Screen Sharing Features

Discord revealed to Medium they have started rolling out screen sharing and video chat to 5% of desktop Discord users today. It’s not being rolled out to everyone due to their claim that the severs would definitely break. Discord stated..

“We’re measuring and testing bandwidth; acquiring and implementing more backend servers; and praying our code actually works. This takes time. It could also be longer than a month.”

A full launch will still at least one month from today at the soonest.
