Dynasty Loop Accused of Withholding Over $2 Million in Unpaid Wages and Benefits

According to multiple sources for Polygon, Indie studio Dynasty Loop are being accused of owing in excess of $2 million in unpaid wages and benefits.

Made up of over 20 workers and external contractors, the staff have also been denied access to the company’s office space and were told to return all of their office equipment in late February.

Speculation as to where the company’s finances are remains to be set in stone. Staff have been told that the company’s funds had been flagged by the Canadian government and frozen indefinitely. This is alleged to be directly related to Dynasty Loop CEO Rania Oueslati’s immigration status. Some have speculated if it could have been tied to FTX as Dynasty Loop have been working on both unnannounced video games and some NFT projects.

Rania Oueslati is currently speaking with staff, or the media and is referring any questions or comments to be sent to her lawyer.
