ESL Ends Lifetime Bans On Epsilon And ex-IBP Players

Huge news in the esports community has ESL have announced they are ended the bans on former iBUYPOWER players effective August 1.

ESL has been working with the Esports Integrity Coalition to develop standards for policing rules that are broken. This ultimately has led to four former iBUYPOWER players to compete in all ESL Counter-Strike: Global Offensive events.

This stems from an August 2014 CS:GO match involving 7 people being banned for match fixing. For of these players were part of the North American team iBUYPOWER. Those members were Sam “DaZeD” Marine, Braxton “swag” Pierce, Joshua “steel” Nissan, and Keven “AZK” Lariviere. Other former members of Epsilon were also have their bans lifted.
