ESL have announced they have partnered with Disney. This partnership will see ESL producing two television programs for Disney XD. These shows will be titled ESL Brawlers and ESL Speedrunners. This announcement comes right after Disney XD aired the Street Fighter V and Super Smash Bros. Wii U tournaments at EVO 2017.
Both of these shows will be part of a new program called D|XP which will be a gaming programming block. Disney’s Senior Vice President for Programming and General Manager for Disney XD said in a brief statement..
“ESL is a leader in competitive gaming and we are excited to bring this original programming to our D|XP audience.”
ESL Brawlers will debut on July 20 and will feature Street Fighter V and Vainglory at a later date. ESL Speedrunners will focus on speedruns.
