Esports Stadium Arlington Lays Off “All But Two” Employees

According to several tweets and sources for Esports Observer, the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington Texas has laid off “all but two” of its employees.

Despite having a huge financial backing in part thanks to the facility being co-owned by Texas Rangers co-owner Neil Leibman, the venue has been one of numerous facilities around the world that has been hit hard thanks to the COVID outbreak.

New president Luke Bauer even confirmed in a new interview with Esports Observer that the team have been working without compensation for the past three months and the rumors of only two employees remaining are true. Stating:

“Losses at the stadium reached a point that a full staff was not sustainable. That is why my team and I have been working for three months without compensation and will be continuing to do so until we get these employees back off of furlough.”
