According to SonicRetro, an extremely rare Sonic game known as Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car will soon be playable on PC. If that is the case, it will be playable via MAME, the Arcade Emulator.
Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car was an Arcade game released exclusively in Japan in 1991 and was played in a booth shaped like a car and controlled using a steering wheel. The game was only released in Arcades in Japan and was never released outside of Japan and on other consoles.
In the game, you play as Sonic who drives around in a police car avoiding traffic until Dr. Eggman shows up in his car and throws bombs at Sonic. It’s also one of the very first Sonic games to fully be voiced over.
