Faceball 2000 Prototype Surfaces

An interesting piece of Nintendo history has found its way onto eBay as someone in Australia is selling their prototype copy of Faceball 2000 on Game Boy. This isn’t just a prototype, but is being sold as a collection containing the following:

Faceball 2000 started off life on the Atari ST computer under the title MIDI Maze in 1987 and later found its way over to other consoles of the era. The Game Boy version launched in 1991 and was developed by Xanith and published by Bullet-Proof Software.

The current asking price is AU $2,400 ($1,719.60 USD) with the seller having a feedback score of 1164.
