According to The Wall Street Journal, the French Competition Authority have raided Nvidia’s French offices on suspicions of anti-trust operations. This is due to growing concerns into their cloud-computing sector with the belief that firms could use access to dominate the global market causing a monopoly.
Nvidia provide processors to many computers used by companies that have made serious investments into the future of Artificial Intelligence. This includes companies such as Google, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft.
Since the explosion of AI and platforms such as ChatGPT, Nvidia have grown exponentially and passed the $1 billion market valuation back in June.
