GameStop Shuts Down Spanish Customer Service Line

A redditor going by Blue-Eyed-Lemon revealed on the official GameStop subreddit that GameStop have decided to shut down their Spanish line for GameStop Customer Care. This means that Spanish-speaking customers will now have to speak in English unless the call center worker is bilingual.

Both employees at the GameStop call center and GameStop employees alike have expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision as they feel this will create an even worse experience for customers and makes everyone’s job more difficult.

Another employee at the call center asked their supervisors why the division was shut down only to receive the following response:

“GameStop has decided to discontinue the transfer line. We will continue to provide the best customer service possible and those willing to may still provide support to our Spanish speaking customers. We appreciate your guys willingness to help our guests.”
