In a news release earlier today, GameStop has revealed they will slowly be reopening stores that had previously been closed to COVID-19. The company stated:
“The company has begun the process of re-opening stores in Italy, Germany, Austria and the states of South Carolina and Georgia and is preparing for the potential to re-open in other operating countries and states in the coming weeks.”
All GameStop stores have been closed to the public since March 21 and a third of their stores are permanently closed in part due to being located within malls.
