Fox8 reported out of West Chester Ohio that a woman became upset after her 7-year old daughter opened up a gift for Christmas and saw the case for Nintendo’s popular Wii U game Splatoon. Upon opening the case they didn’t find the Splatoon disk. In its place was a pornographic film titled Sensual Seduction 2.
The mother, who bought the game from Target, reached out to the company on social media and Target apologized for the incident and offered to give her a gift card at the same value as the game. Of course the mother was still not happy about that and told WLWT..
“I’m not OK with getting a gift card. I want to know how it happened and make sure that it goes up the flagpole and that Nintendo is made aware of it. [Target] said they’d pass it along and somebody would get back to me and I haven’t heard anything since.”
Needless to say it is fitting that the game that was purchased just happened to be titled Splatoon.
