Houston Outlaws have something to be happy about as the team have announced they have acquired star DPS player Se-hyun “Pelican“ Oh from the Atlanta Reign.
The 19-year-old is coming off a very successful debut season with the Atlanta Reign as he won the Rookie of the Year award for the 2021 Overwatch League season. Prior to that, Pelican made a name for himself across the Contenders Korea scene as a member of Armament and later powerhouses O2 Blast.
The Houston Outlaws noted the following about the acquisition:
Outlaws and Reign reached a buyout agreement to transfer/trade Pelican’s contract to the Outlaws. No other players were involved in the transaction.
