Vigilante isn’t the only new signee to WGS Phoenix as the organization have now announced they have received Jin-ui “im37“ Hong on loan from Uprising Academy.
Many remember im37 when he went from the Open Division with Wave Check all the way to joining the Overwatch League with the Toronto Defiant in under 21 days. Since his time with the Defiant, he competed in Contenders China with Light Gaming before joining Uprising Academy where he has been part of that team for the past three months.
Im37 stated on Twitter:
This was 100% my decision. I wanted to give my all to UA but I found it very challenging due to the situations I am going through. I’m so grateful to have UA coaching staffs understanding and respecting my decision. I will do my best. I deeply appreciate all the support
