Industry veteran Jeronimo Barrera revealed to Variety that he has left Rockstar Games after 20 years with the video game studio.
Barrara worked as the Vice President of Development Production and worked on several major video game titles with the company including L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Bully, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and most recently Red Dead Redemption 2. He also worked as a producer on titles such as Bully, Smuggler’s Run, The Warriors, and Midnight Club.
Some speculate that he might join DICE as he recently attended the DICE Summit, but is not sure. Saying in the article:
“I think we are in a new dawn of the industry where there is a lot of cool shit happening in terms of the technology, not just in the console world, but with how games are published, the technology out there. I think virtual reality and augmented reality are amazing things.
