All new versions of Metal Gear Solid 5 now has no mention of Kojima Productions or Hideo Kojima. This means that Kojima Productions logo and the “A Hideo Kojima Game” is removed from the box art. Konami has been slowly removing all mention of anything dealing with Kojima. Back in March they removed the Kojima Productions branding from Silent Hills website and wiped all branding from Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros and The Phantom Pain.
A source for Gamespot revealed that the Kojima’s team contracts expire on December and that Hideo Kojima plans on leaving the studio as soon as The Phantom Pain is completed.
