Logitech is officially entering the console accessories business as they have acquired Astro Gaming for a reported $85 million.
Ujash Desai, Vice President and General Manager of Logitech G said in a statement..
“Astro is the leading player for premium console headsets and is the preferred headset for console esports athletes. It’s a perfect complement to Logitech G’s focus on PC gaming and we couldn’t be more excited; we love the team, the brand and the products.”
Astro Gaming accessories will still be made under the Astro Gaming brand with Logitech acting as the parent company.
