Overwatch Contenders Trials: Season 1 Australia has just ended and while the top two teams will move on to compete in the upcoming season of Overwatch Contenders, one team has found themselves disqualified.
The Overwatch Contenders Tournament Administration has finished an investigation and has found that the team known as Hot Sauce will not be moving on to Contenders and have been disqualified. Despite ending the season in second place with a 6-1 record, the team was found to have been using ineligible players. Due to this conclusion Mindfreak, who finished in third place, have been moved up to second place and will go on to Contenders Australia alongside Trials winners Legacy Esports.
