MangaGamer Hit With Payment Fraud

MangaGamer

MangaGamer announced today they have been dealing with “drastically heightened number of fraudulent purchases” with stolen credit cards on their site and are no longer offering Steam keys with purchase on the site for “the foreseeable future.”

The site mentioned that these criminals are specifically targeting games that have complimentary steam keys and are purchasing them, re-selling the keys, and getting them redeemed before the site can stop it.

For those who don’t know what MangaGamer is, it’s a online distributor that brings a library of visual novels to English-speaking gamers.
