Masako Nozawa Wins Guiness World Records

Famed voice actress Masako Nozawa now holds two world records recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. The organization recognized her as the current record-holder for the longest time voicing a single character in video games and also as for the longest time working as a voice actor in video games. For those unaware, Masako Nozawa is the voice of Son Goku in Japan and has done all the voices for Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Z video games.

Nozawa received the award on October 25, 2016 and had been voicing Son Goku in the Dragon Ball games for 23 years and 218 days. Her first video game voice acting role was Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden which released on the Super Famicom back in 1993.
