In what could be considered a long time coming, the Houston Outlaws have announced they have officially parted ways with Lucas “Mendokusaii” Håkansson.
Mendo has been a member of the Houston Outlaws since their initial announcement, but only played one match during the pre-season and no games in the regular season. In April 2018, Mendo became a full-time streamer under the Outlaws banner and made several appearances to watch parties around the Houston area.
Mendo has stated that he will now be focusing primarily on streaming Apex Legends full time.
